Luxembourg is gearing up for its annual countrywide fundraiser to collect money for cancer research. The event, which supports various foundations and projects fighting against cancer, will include a celebrity fundraising dinner at the castle in Differdange on 25 March.

The dinner will be served by local notables, including deputy prime minister and minister for health Paulette Lenert, businesswoman and former princess Tessy Antony de Nassau and her husband Frank, and actor Marc Limpach.

Tickets for the event cost 95 euros, including a four-course dinner. Places are limited and must be reserved by 20 March. You can apply via email to festivites@differdange.lu.

Luxembourg has been organising its annual fundraising event for cancer research since 2002.

According to the Ministry of Health, cancer is the leading cause of death in Luxembourg. The event aims to support scientific research that can improve prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
